June 2008 – Stewart’s First Solo Trip
Stewart enjoyed her first solo trip down at her Grammy and Poppy’s house last week while Will spent time in Fort Mill with his Nanny and their parents enjoyed a few days in Chicago (snuck a few pictures in here as well) before the summer heat sets in. Will seemed to miss us quite a bit but Stewart didn’t seem to blink an eye. In fact, she didn’t seem to miss us much at all which for a 3 year old is a pretty good thing I guess (I say this now that she is back home!).

June 2008 – Beach Trip!
It is summer and that can only mean one thing for this family: BEACH TRIP! After nearly 2 years since our last trip to the beach with Grammy and Poppy we returned to Isle of Palms (just north of Charleston, SC) to spend 4-5 days in Wild Dunes. Cindy set up the arrangements only weeks prior, got a deal on the place and then got us upgraded upon check-in! 1 trip to Charleston for lunch, 2 shrimp boils, daily trips to the pool and beach and some worn out kids, parents and grandparents after 5 days worth of sun and fun. Turns out the 88 degree days we were seeing were spring-like compared to the 100+ heat in Charlotte. Good week to be at the beach!
